Being well-rested through the night will boost your physical and mental capacity to perform a morning workout.  Make your workout number one on your to-do list. A morning workout is a lot like breakfast in that it gets your metabolism going.

Don’t hesitate and start moving

The more you think twice, the more you will give yourself the never ending reasons why not to exercise. If you think that you are not in the mood to keep going, try a mini exercise routine then re-evaluate yourself. Sometimes you’ll forget you didn’t want to workout in the first place.


Buddy System

One of the most effective ways to stay motivated is to have someone else to workout with. If you do not have active friends who could join you, try to make friends by taking a fitness class, or maybe join a fitness or sports club. Hanging out with physically active people will create a physical lifestyle and these friends will always motivate you.

Make sure that you have realistic but exciting and challenging goals. Otherwise, it will destroy your enthusiasm. For instance, rather than just generally aiming to get fit, aim to develop that abs or to lose two inches from your waist. Keep your goals in mind and follow it with all your heart.
